In this experiment my aim was to be in dialogue with the ever evolving now; ideas and materials (old, trash, new, those I can’t seem to let go of, annoying and also pleasant questions, statements, to be in touch with the ever present absurdity and the world of the body and some of its strange desires) – a choreographic sampling/DJ:ing of actions put in an order. Time, space and movement wrapped up in a storyline.
The experiment happened within the curatorial framework First Run, in its Swedish version, initiated and coordinated by Lilian Steiner and Leah Landau, a series of artistic encounters which provides a space for artists to test new material in a supportive environment. These sessions foster dialogue between creators and audiences, encouraging open exploration and feedback.
